Prague, January 3rd 2002 SGB Praha s.r.o. Statement on the OKO – OK Target red dot sight manufactured by SGB Praha s.r.o. Our unit has been using OKO – OK Target red dot sights already since the beginning of year 2000, particularly with HK MP5 sub-machine guns, but also with model 58 sub-machine gun. During their intensive training as well as during the combat missions the members of our unit use their sub-machine guns with the sights fitted, under all weather conditions. All sights together with mounts and special protective steel covers (which are also made by SGB Praha s.r.o.) haven’t required any particular maintenance nor there has been any need to zeroing them again during this period of 2 years, as they have been functioning without a single problem. Aiming at a target is easier, faster and more reliable than with open sights. HK MP5 mount also enables the use of standard dioptrical sights. The steel cover almost doesn’t belittle an excellent view of a target and it ensures enough protection of the sight against the jolts which often occur as we frequently use our weapons in harsh conditions (absailing, overcoming of obstacles etc.) This statement was issued at the request of the company SGB Praha s.r.o. and it may be used for the purpose of their red dot sight commercial presentation.
